THE ELEGYMART ARCHIVES, VOL. 1
Michael Nesmith's passing prompted a trawl through the Elegymart Archives, and incredibly the transfer of his "World Café" program appearance has been sitting here on a local hard drive for five years to the day when this was transferred.
No live music here, it's all interview and the released music here has all been whittled done to compliant snippets. Sorry it took Nez's departure from the planet to inaugurate this new series. Well, it's not really new, it's just that this begins the enumerated volumes -- they won't be arriving swiftly as real life gets in the way, but you all know to expect that by now.
Although this brief audio piece is old enough to vote, it still provides a quick but fairly comprehensive overview of this true renaissance man, a pioneer in video, music, computers and books.
Enjoy,
