Mike Oldfield

1: walkon and tuning 1:20
2: 32:22
3: 30:29
4: 10:10
5: Mike says thanks, but we can't play another number :32.
I think the track two (1st song played here) is a part of Tubular Bells.
although it sounds a little short for a more recent Oldfield show, this
sounds like it is the whole concert and a very good quality recording,
likely done with a Sony D-5 cassette deck and Nak. 100 mikes
(since it is a Stud Muffin Production sourced recording.) I don't think
there was much of a tour (if any) this year in the U.S. Mike did a tour in 1982.
missed that one (he played the family man that time, not in here).
I did some research on this, (wikipedia) and found no indication that any of it
has been released officially. It's a 20th anniversary of Tubular Bells show, there
were several shows listed for it but only one listed for the U.S that year,
that's not all they played in here.
apparently it may have been a 1 show U.S. tour this time. If so, waiting to hear
new Oldfield gets old, so why wait? Here is some new Oldfield to many ears. I
was not able to find out who plays in the band here either but there's some very
good players in the band.
Do not sell this recording.
