Format: 1 set

Really amazing performance! If I wasn't there, I'd think that there were more performers than just Mike & Steve on stage.

I got to the stage very early, and got a great spot right next to the stage. I'm really, really pleased with how this turned out. This is probably the best recording that I've ever done at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass!

Many thanks to BigDee for working his usual magic in mastering this.

Thanks to Wonderful for his excellent recording as well, and for his setlist (which I adapted to my tracking).

Description as published in the program: Having begun a musical career in the 1970s which has continued to this day, Scott
has been described as a madman or genius, depending on your point of view by Record Collector Magazine and is well known for his radical changes in music genres throughout what Scott refers to as his allegedly unorthodox career. Steve Wickham is an Irish musician described by Mike Scott as the worlds greatest rock fiddle player and by New Musical Express as a fiddling legend.
