Thanks to Tom Reizes for the DAT!

Some notes from the taper: "The Stern show was great. We had a great table in the center of the room. The bass player had this long throw port on a relatively small boutique bass amp. Small face, 3-4x deeper than it was wide, produced incredibly natural rich sound. Mike played on of his choice teles, and got a really cool sound by running two Boss DD5 digital delay boxes in series. He got incredible, rich shimmering textures out of them. Richie was just sick."

This recording is nice and tight, with lots of detail. It may lack some bass compared to the performance itself, but that's probably not what will come to mind when you hear it.

Deleted a couple of patch-ins and some dead air. Track 5 may be a continuation of the song that begins in track 4. The whole show runs just under 1:20 and should fit on an 80 minute disc, particularly if you delete track 7.

Enjoy!
