Notes:
An interesting tribute to Miles Davis performed by four musicians who played with Miles at
different times, but never in the same lineup. Very good recording, but this is another one
we erroneously thought would be a fairly loud jazz/rock fusion show. Accordingly, my levels
were set low. The result is some hiss/white noise in the background, especially during quiet
passages. Use of a preamp, or at least the microphone input, would have made all the
difference. The other issue with these quiet shows is that every little noise in the room is
picked up (i.e. clanging wine glasses, people coughing, yappy cocktail watiresses, the
nitwits at the next table chewing their tortilla chips like cows, etc.) Very little editing
was done to the recording, aside from some minor EQ, normalization, and gain to bring the
levels up. I resisted the urge to use any kind of noise reduction, as it usually just makes
things worse.

I don't know any of the track titles. I'm not even sure I have the track splits in the
correct places. I just split the tracks at what seemed to be natrual points where the band
stopped playing. Any help with track titles and proper split points would be greatly
appreciated.

Trade freely (BUT PLEASE INCLUDE THIS INFO FILE WITH ALL COPIES), make covers,
support the artist. DO NOT convert to lossy format or sell!
