This Chicago band puts on a great blues show with a bunch of very talented musicians. About a quarter into their first set, Inetta Visor comes on to sing. As soon as she did come on stage, I immediately realized that I had seen them before, in 2002. She's lots of fun although I found her voice to be a little hoarse this time and she does mention something about her voice during their second set. That said, her talent is undisputed and she's just marvelous. The harp player, Pierre stands out throughout the whole show and the remainder of the band is absolutely rock solid. This was a great show and you're sure not to be disappointed with its big sound and great quality.
There was a certain electricity in the air that hot and muggy Friday night. Before the show, a few people sitting next to me were talking so much and so loudly that I was quite concerned. I very delicately mentioned to them that I would be recording and it would be greatly appreciated if they would perhaps refrain from talking during the show. They told me that it was really too bad as they are all enormous talkers and more likely than not would not stop for me. Then, one of the them said, "Perhaps if we could get a copy we'll keep quiet". I'm not a fan of blackmail but this was an easy request for me and I immediately jumped on the opportunity. I said "DEAL!", gave the guy my email address and to my enormous surprise and relief, they kept absolutely silent throughout the whole show. It was a rare moment.

This recording will naturally sound much better cranked up loud with quality headphones!
