Rec. Info:
OKM2Pop -> iRiver Juke Box (WAv 16/44) -> HD -> external HD -> my HD -> Soundengine (reedit/
remaster) -> WAV -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND SITTING CROSS THE TABLE WITH
THE MAN WITH THE RED SCAR EYES...
Recorded by Mr. SANDHOOS, amazing quality, but - as on all o his recordings before - most
audience banter is cut out, which leads to some harsh transitions...Almost all of Mr. Levise's
banter is on here. Very entertaining, indeed...

What to say about this "URGESTEIN" (Prime Rock) of Rock and Roll Music? At age of now 66 he's
still on the road, and as recent postings here (Thank you Manillo!) proove, he's still in an
amazing condition, which is not to say of some others of his age...Though the show captured
here is a few years ago, the core songs are still in his repertoire. So, if he shows up at
your place in Europe, go ahead a grab his performance. Unfortunately this can't be said about
the United States of A shows, where he's reduced to bring up his old Detroit Wheels songs only.
Lucky us Europeans, and thanks to the Rockpalast of 1979, where all things went ugly first, but
then turned extremly positive for his career. His backing band, ENGERLING (named after the worm
which metamorphes into the here common May-Bug), was once possibly the primo Blues band behind
the iron curtain in long gone German Democratic Republic (DDR, or GDR). They'd been working with
Mitch on and off since 1994, and are his regular touring band for Europe since 2002.
Have some fun with this grand entertainer of Rock and Roll music! Enjoy! SB.
