Dedicated to Steve Sorin.

This recording is only about 34 minutes long, so it's very likely not the complete set. The guys are on fire, though!

I am currently archiving my Moby Grape (and related) collection. I got 2, maybe 3 DVDs of their material from Steve Sorin, in 2005. We were close traders, and friends, for a long time. He took on a big project to preverse all the Moby Grape that is known to circulate. As he helped me with that, dealing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, I was glad to help out him. This show, and several others, were vined out on a online group, which no longer exists. Steve was going to mail me more material, but I was caught in a cross country move, and was able to give a solid address. Then when I did settle, a few months later, Steve said he was having serious medical issues. This turned out to be cancer. We will talked about things, but we never really traded anymore. We would say "next time...", and never really do it. Steve passed away a few years later. Yes, I still very much miss him. I circulated a few of shows from these 'Whale DVDs' (what we called them. get it?), but now I see I should fix things up best I can, for better archival reasons.

None of the "Whales" from Steve had checksums, very few had a known lineage, only a couple had setlists. If you gotten Grape from me before, then you may wish to start fresh. Been over 7 years now since these were last even touched. I also have a few that the DVDs don't have, so I fixing those up too, while I am at it. I am doing this in a non-rushed manner, so bare that in mind. Every couple of weeks, or so, I will work on another one.

As always, enjoy,
