The �Circus� was a legendary clup around 50 kms outside of Munich. A lot of great bands played there, including Frank Zappa and Nirvana. For more information and an incomplete list of Bands who played there, see here:

Unfortunatly the Moe-Tucker-Show is not listed. I contacted the person who runs the website but never got an answer.
The show must have taken place in Winter 1989 oder 1990. I lived not far from Gammelsdorf at that time and remember driving the foggy country roads in a cold night. (If I remember correctly...)

I got this recording years ago from a friend who got it as a copy of the original tape. I transferred it to minidisc. During the last months I went through my collection of Minidiscs and rediscovered this recording.
The recording is most likely incomplete. If I remember the concert correctly some songs were done by members of Half Japanese on vocals. These are missing here. As you can hear, some editing has been done at the end of some of the songs. That wasn't me. Maybe the taper cut out some songs?
Also, on the songs 2-10 only one chanel was recording, the other was empty. So I duplicated the working chanel on the empty chanel to have music coming from both loudspeakers.
All in all, the recording is pretty rough. Nevertheless, since there aren't too many recordings of Moe + Half Japanese out there, I decided to share it on DIME.
