The Monkees
January 21, 1967
Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum
Phoenix, AZ

I've seen a few bootlegs over the years that have had a couple of songs from this show on them, but to my knowledge, this is the first time this concert has been presented complete, and in this quality. According to Andrew Sandoval's book, this show was recorded on 4-track tape.

Here is the exact lineage of what you are about to hear:
A Very quick Mixdown was made (with vocals missing on several tracks) onto a Master Mono Reel. Somehow, this reel of tape was acquired by a long-time Monkees Historian & Collector, who made a direct copy of the reel to a cassette for an aquaintance of mine (who shall remain nameless). Several years later, that cassette was given to me. I've recorded the cassette directly my PC as 32-bit wav. I've done some light noise reduction on the tape, faded in the beginning, faded out the ending, converted to 16-bit wav, and encoded to Flac 8.

Long short: 4-track Master--->Mono Mixdown Master Reel--->Cassette--->Wav---Flac-->YOU
