This was recorded with Zoom H2 with internal mics, on the low mic gain setting. H2 lined into computer by USB, wav sent to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12. Magix program was used for track markings, volume increase, and before and after set noise removal. Flac created with Trader's Little Helper, SBE and torrent work also done with TLH.

This recording came out fairly nice, though it wouldn't be one of mine if it didn't have some issues. I had a great seat - row f in the orchestra section, end of the aisle. For set one, the row in front of mine had two different groups of two people who were ushered to the wrong seats, and chatter and bullshit from this getting straightened out lasted until some point in track 06. It's not as loud as it was distracting in general. You hear me hand somebody their vax card that they dropped, as well as some brief complaints to my patient wife, a grrr here and a curse there. I went to the bathroom for tracks 13 and much of 14, but my wife held the recorder, so it worked out. Set two was fine - I went to the bathroom for "Daydream Believer," and just set the recorder on my chair. It's a little different in quality, but it's ok. And, of course, one of the two girls in front of me had something to say about everything. Blah blah blah. Overall, this was such a great concert, and I'm glad I caught it. Mike's vocals were a bit low in the mix, but I don't think he sings as loud as Micky in general. I really liked the song selection, though a few were shaved off the set list, not sure why. As for the venue, I sort of liked it. It's basically a high school auditorium sized place, with a balcony. Adequate sound system. How the ushers managed to escort two different groups of people to the same wrong row was fairly ponderous, and the issue caused numerous people to have to get up and sit back down and get up again during the start of the show. The fact that they were sorting all this out right next to me was making me furious. I could see from my seat that one of the people had balcony seats on their phone. He didn't know he was in the wrong seat? Come on... It was the usher's fault, but you know somebody is going to show up looking for their seats. Why waste everybody's time? Anyway, I took a bunch of phone photos, though faces look like light bulbs from the lights. I included the better of them.
