I seeded this WAY back when I first started here (probably in an attempt to hash out the few freaks here at the time�)but now we�ve got lots of freaks here, it�s about time it gets proper treatment

Please note this is a BRAND NEW TRANSFER and NOT A RESEED�this one sounds much better than the last one I seeded!...

This one is the essential and coveted Wetlands show, the only time* they ever played �Ozium�, but that is just part of the show�s appeal�the whole thing is a wah-wah and feedback induced assault on all things holy. Looking at the Jazzhaus or Atak shows from this time period, you can tell this is truly Monster magnet at the height of their powers�nothing commercial about this�

Dave here is just hilarious. I had to track out all his banter�the Wetland�s Preserve was a venue on the lower west side of NYC that was dedicated to environmental issues. They had a Volkswagen Beetle inside the club that was painted with peace symbols and hippie stuff where you could get pamphlets regarding all sorts of boycotts and companies who polluted and what have you�Dave busts on this to no end�� what are you people doing here?...you don�t come here everyday, do you?�...�Lets go pick up some pamphlets at the love bug���and �let�s burn our own little hole in the ozone layer� pepper his chats. Classic.That irreverence carries itself into the set too�they are on fire.

I bought this tape MANY moons ago from Merle Allin (yes, the Murder Junkie), who used to sell tapes on St Marks Place in NYC�I had thought that this one would be pretty common, but even now this one brings gasps from diehard Monster Magnet fans�now that there are enough of us here, hopefully this will get out to the larger community as it should.

Merle�s no longer selling tapes, to my knowledge, and this is still the lowest gen source circulating of the full show.

Enjoy it�there is little chance that you WON�T, but please!!
