This tape is partially a two source mix. The primary source is the tape I got from chopper7, the secondary source used for patches is one I recorded at the same show. The patch tape is nowhere near the sound quality of the main tape. I used this tape to fill the tape flip that caused most of Painted Smile to be lost. Unfortunately the only copy of my recording is only the first half. The second half was stolen by an ex-girlfriend along with 700 or so other CDs. This is why I'm not posting my version.

Lineage:
Primary tape: cass (1) > Technics playback deck > Adobe audition 1.5 (recording at 24/96, minor NR, speed correction, EQ, stereo spatialization, limiting, track splitting, conversion to 16/44.1, flac 8)

Secondary tape: cass (1) > Technics playback deck > Adobe audition 1.5 (recording at 16/44.1, minor NR, speed correction, EQ, stereo spatialization, limiting, flac 8)

The NR in the lineage was used to remove the hiss of the blank tape. That is, the sound of the tape before the recording began. No content of the music was removed.

This is a 16 bit recording because the patch was recorded that way.

Primary tape recorded by the same taper as the 1987 Darien Lake show, this tape also suffers from one of the same flaws. The taper only brought one cassette with him, so he stopped the tape in between songs. This begins on the second side of the tape. I relocated audience noise from elsewhere in the show to patch these gaps. A tape flip caused most of Painted Smile to be missed. This was patched with the tape I made. Unfortunately this tape saving measure didn't work as well as he had planned, because the final song, Ride My See-Saw is not on the tape.

The left channel of the first side of the tape was irreparably damaged. I removed and replaced it with the right channel, then stereo spatialized the resulting file so the stereo field resembled that of the other side.
