Note: This is my fifth time to see the MB's and the first was at this venue. My seat was good for visibility but the sound was off center. I am unsure what effect that had but it seemed somewhat biased. Not that this means the show was anything but enjoyable--the Moodies always play a great show that reminds you of how some music has staying power due to the originality and quality.
While the band is down to three original members the music is still as vibrant and entertaining as always --just think Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, etc. Justin Hayward is beginning to show his age (65), John Lodge (66) and Graeme Edge boasted of his last birthday during this show (70), they were all full of energy and show no signs of giving this up. This is the 45th year od the Moody Blues. That alone should cause a pause for thought. Few groups have withstood the test of time like this.
There is minor chatter and mic rash. Overall I give it an A- on quality. A+ for enjoyment.
Enjoy!
