The Motet - The music of Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters, Boulder, CO 2001-10-31,SB, (Re-seed with tweeks)

Led by drummer Dave Watts, The Motet have produced many Tribute concerts over the years as will be tonight's 0ctober 31, 2010 show in Boulder of the band performing Earth, Wind & Fire material. This Holloween concert from 9 years ago today was billed as the "Night of the Living Headhunters" and featured songs composed by Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters. The guests of The Motet on this special night include Keybordist Eric Deutsche who does a great job throughout, Saxophonist Jon Stewart, and Percussionist Ira Sweetwine. If you are a fan of 60's - 70's Herbie Hancock, or just love the Rhodes sound, long solo's, percussion, and intense play then for you!!! It's the kind of set I'd love to walk into a club to hear anytime. This show was seeded here earlier this year, and I have applied some tweeks (see below). All praise goes out to the original recordist Dave Werber (Motet Archivist) who also did the original transfer. As always your comments are appreciated. Happy Holloween Y'all!!!
