This was an official Jam Cruise 13 pre-show and Phish after-party (who had just completed a 4 night run at American Airlines Arena just an hour prior - I did not attend). Note that the show was scheduled to begin at midnight, but it was a shitshow at the venue and the security guys didn't let people into the house until 12:30, only about 2 minutes before Kung Fu hit the stage. I surveyed the space for 20 seconds and determined the only safe place to record was just in front of the bar in front of the mixing console. Because of the late entry, I missed the majority of the opening tune "Chin Music." Note that the Kung Fu oepning set started at about 12:35 AM, technically on Sunday 01/04/2015. This set around 2:00 AM. People were all whacked out and knocked into my mic stand numerous times, resulting in a bit of phase shifting.
The set was technically performed in the club next door, Steam, owned by the same people but since the show was billed as being at the Railroad Blues (Backyard Stage) I listed the venue as such above.
