YOUR EARS AND MIND...unchain the London space!
Recorded by dear Lars at app. 5-6 meters from stage center. Usually a good spot, but something went terribly wrong with this tape. Started fine for the first 2:30 minutes of
"Cloudwalker", when suddenly the sound turned into a thick muddy low-fi mode. Then - for a few seconds - all "overclear" with no bass, like crackling glass... And that symptom
progresses through the whole set. Tried my best to equalize the sound as much as I thought it could be, but I'm definitely not satisfied with what came out. More hiss, of course,
and still not even close to the quality you're used to get from both Lars and Spacebandit. If it wasn't MP I'd dumped that on the outskirts of my "poison case".
Anyway all thanks to Lars from Oslo for his efforts and maybe a better one from our fellow UK Psychonauts will surface...

Ok, the tape quality sucks, and, of course, this may be shortest show of that fabulous great tour. First I looks unique as there are only the first 3 parts of HELL are played, as
on the other shows two different versions were celebrated (the 32+ min. and the 42+ min.). As the show also lacks the usual great acoustic set, I might look as a bit of a downer.
WRONG! A great "Alchemyst" is just a tasty teaser on the progressing outspace which would follow. The double maelstrom of "Starhammer -> Hallucifuge" (tough stuff!) went into a
short but great "Un chien d'espace". For the latter 18+ minutes is really short...
Somehow I think that the continental audience from Noway to Spain got a bit more MP experience from our beloved SpaceRiders. Given the fact that there was an opening act to this show
(guess that wasn't recorded), and the probable curfew in UK clubs, it's been great 130 minutes. SB.
