Muddy Waters,
Zak's, Milwaukee
May 1976

A tape I received in a trade more than 20 years ago. Probably 2nd or 3rd gen. Actually, the tape is just labelled Milwaukee 1977, but I don't think this can be right. According to the MW archive he didn't play Milwaukee in 1977. But he did play several nights at Zak's in May, 1976. A tape exists from one of those nights though I haven't been able to get a copy. From the track list, however, and some of the reported comments from Muddy between songs, this looks like an incomplete, 60 minute, version of that tape. Small club venue and very nice, close clear sound for the time.

Lineage: 2nd or 3rd gen tape into Magix ACL where FLAC files were created.
