i was asked to upload more concerts from all these
"desert-island artists" of my dad & my uncle Frizze.
Here is, again, one of their all-time favorites:
Neal Casal (born November 2, 1968) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter,
best known for his work with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. Casal has also played
in Hazy Malaze. To date, Casal has released nine studio albums under his own name.
Casal began his musical career in the early 1990s with Blackfoot, and joined
The Cardinals after J.P. Bowersock left the band in 2005. Also a photographer,
Casal's photographs have been used in the artwork of some Cardinals' releases.
In February of 2010, Neal Casal published his first book. It is a book of tour
photography titled A View of Other Windows. The book documents his life on the
road with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals.
This is from Neal's FIRST EVER bandtour in Germany, BIG THANKS to 'deafmusic' !
Neal never sounded more "Crazy Horse"-like than on this tour...watch the guitars...

Cologne (or in German: Köln - local dialect: Kölle) is Germany's fourth-largest
city (after Berlin, Hamburg and Munich), and is the largest city both in the
German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metro-
politan Area, one of the major European metropolitan areas with more than ten
million inhabitants. It is one of the oldest cities in Germany, having been
founded by the Romans in the year 38 BC, and lies on the River Rhine.
"Underground" is a club in the former industrial area of Cologne-Ehrenfeld - an
well known venue, almost centrally situated. It includes a bar, two concert halls
and (during the summer) a fine beer garden. The concert halls are used during the
weekends mainly for parties and concerts, the main focus lies on Heavy Metal, Rock
and Punk. Their organizers' motto: "We deliver rock'n'roll".

Frizze NAILED THIS SHOW HERE to digital audio tape...
so NO additional NoiseReduction or EQ'ing was used here, and none
of those compressors, Sonic Maximizers or other psychoacoustic
processors - why ruin another true deafmusic masterpiece ?
it sounds completely the way it was distinguishable that night in this venue.
Dad accentuated just all the applause and spoken passages inbetween the songs,
averagely +5,0 dB, reduced some of the instrumental plug ins, smoothed out
some passages and balanced the stereo channels (just a touch). The only
further addition to the RAW files was a short fade-in and, at the end, a
fade-out - after the audience applause, so truly NO MUSIC was harmed or lost.
