This is a definitive version of the Heidelberg 1976 show. The recording came out very well considering the equipment available in the mid-70s. In those days people were not standing to watch a show but rather would sit down. Thus it was easy to put the microphone on the floor and get a decent recording. It worked very well for the acoustic part but due to some smoke coming from our place an American GI noticed it and came over and sat next to us for the electric set. He was not one of the quiet kind. The missing part of Down By The River happened because I flipped the tape over. The encore is missing on my recording because everyone was getting up and rushing to the stage so I had no chance to get my equipment set up again.

Fortunately some 15 years later I found out that the famous German taper HB also taped this show but his unfortunately has weaker sound quality. Still it was nice to fill in the missing gaps.

This show still contains an unreleased song Sad Movies aka Day and Night We Walked These Aisles.

For your pleasure I have included pictures of the poster and tour advertisement. You can also see the equipment I used.
