in GOTR (Ghosts on The Road) " Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy Benefit
presented its annual award "The Silver Clef" and the 1988 recipient was
Neil Young A 500.00 a head dinner was held in NYC and those attending included Phoebe Snow,
Suzanne Vega and Les Paul. Items donated by various stars were auctioned off
(Neil paying 10,000 for one of John Lennon's collarless suits)
and 400,000 was raised for charity. At the end of the
evening a jam session resulted with Neil Young, Phil Collins, Curt Smith
Buckwheat Zydeco, Mike Rutherford, Robert Plant, Julian Lennon and Mick
