Neil Young "Tomorrows Memory"
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Halifax Metro center
2008 Nov 29

Opening actes were Everest and Wilco

Lineage - Custom homemade mics -->Battery Box with 160hz roll off filter-->24bit 44k1 Edirol R-09-->Soundforge-->adjust volume-->downsample to 16 bit--->FLAC

Recorded from the floor, infront of the mixing board.

Initially, I played with several different EQ adjustments and toyed with a few different SF filters, but couldn't really make an improvement on the sound, so I ended up back at the beginning and made no alterations to the sound. I only increased the volume..no EQ..nothing.

I found that the Wilco and Everest portions of the show sounded clearer while the Neil portion was a little murkier.

Total play time is about 124 minutes.

I split the show into 2 cds and added fade-ins and outs at the appropriate locations:

CD1
01. Love And Only Love
02. Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)
03. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
04. Powderfinger
05. Spirit Road
06. Cortez The Killer
07. Cinnamon Girl
08. Oh, Lonesome Me
09. Mother Earth
10. The Needle And The Damage Done

CD2
11. Band Intros
12. Heart Of Gold
13. Old Man
14. Get Back To The Country
15. Just Singing A Song
16. Sea Change
17. When worlds Collide
18. Cowgirl In The Sand
19. Rockin' In The Free World
20. Encore Break
21. A Day In The Life

As always, feel free to trade and post on other sites, but I ask that the title and info notes
remain with the files.
Do not sell or reconvert to lossy format unless it is for personal use only.

As Neil Young says.."keep on rockin' in the fre world!"

Please feel free to let me know what you think of the recording. I love the feedback.

Also, I am always looking for other shows by Canadian acts like Sum41, Danko Jones, April Wine, Matt Mays and Plaskett.

Thanks
