This was a tough one to find after Farm Aid 2001 - with all the heightened security, only
one recording has ever surfaced to my knowledge. It is thanks to that taper, who was there
mainly for Dave Matthews, that we have this audience recording. He even got the opening
"This Land Is Your Land" with the entire cast.

Later one of my trading buddies got their hands on a Westwood One pre-FM disc containing
both the Farm Aid 2001 performance included here and the 1996 Phoenix Festival performance,
and was broadcast on March 16, 2002. All I've done is edit out the commercials (most of
which occured at the end of the disc) and the announcer, who spoke over nothing but filler
audience noise. As far as I know this hasn't made the rounds much, and I've never even
seen an FM recording from that broadcast.
