notes:
-mics on baffle and mic stand set on an elevated bench - about 10' up in total, FOB dead center about 25-30' back. Superb sound: close to mics on stage type
sound. A high "A-" at least.
-Plaza Palomino is an outdoor upscale shopping mall going through hard economic times. The show is out in the plaza between the stores and restaurants. They
actually set up chairs for this and most people sat through it (I don't know how!). It was quite cool outside, and the band remarks they didn't know it was
an outdoors show until last minute, and how it gets cold in the desert, and to remind them the next time they come. So I think the 2nd set may have been cut
short a bit.
-also: full disclosure: David broke a string and changed it after track 5 in 1st set. There were 6 minutes of silence while he changed it except for the
band tuning up - no banter at all, so I cut it out of this mastered version.
-the 1st set was great IMO from end to end; 2nd was good too, even if a bit short. Real nice jam outs on "Dirty Business" and "Rockin' With Nona" to close 1st.
-could use a little help completing setlist.
-thanx to the band and manager and promotor for allowing audio recording. Support them: go see a show. Do not sell or trade in lossy format paleeze!!!
-another Sonoran Desert Recording taped, mastered and seeded by matt23.
