New York Dolls - Bottom Line, New York City 1974-04-21

Source: audience, generation unknown
This came to me as FLAC's in a trade. Left completely as is.

Quality: D

A = excellent, E = abysmal

This may have been on DIME before but was sent to me as part of a trade. Many thanks to the original recordist, the converter/uploader and my contact. All I did to this was put in a new checksum file. The original notes are below. This rates on my audio quality scale as above as a 'D' but is very raucous Dolls doing their thing, Sweet.

Arthur Kane - Bass
David Johansen - Vocals/Harmonica
Jerry Nolan - Drums
Johnny Thunders - Guitar
Sylvain Sylvain - Guitar

HAPPY SOLSTICE!!!

- Audience recording transferred from a Sony UX-S cassette. Very, very rough sound, but if your a Dolls fanatic you'll probably want it just to complete the collection. Track #8 is very cut up, at the start, in the middle and towards the end. Don't know if the taper was pressing the pause button, but there are a few seconds of silence at each spot. I decided to leave it as is. Still, there is some enjoyment to be had hearing the real Dolls with Thunders classic guitar riffs, however marginal the recording.
