Notes:

The gig was moved from an open-air location ("Museumsinsel") to one of the
most horrible venues in Berlin, an ex-depot for buses which never should
have been used for anything else than this, let alone for promoting gigs...
The sound was awful, but the band was in a good mood and the setlist was
satisfying with many classic tunes and strange versions of songs like
"West Country Girl" or "Henry Lee". If only Mr. Bargeld wouldn't have left
the band shortly before...

"Hallelujah" was dedicated to Blixa and "Rock Of Gibraltar" was dedicated
to Gudrun Gut (of Malaria! fame). She met Nick the night before where he
did a secret solo show in Berlin with 300 invited guests (Hey, can someone please
upload a recording of that one? ;)) and told him that this would be the worst song
he'd ever written and "a big pile of sh*t". Nick then mentioned at least 6 times
that "R.O.G." is now dedicated to her and seemed to have a lot of fun...

After "The Mercy Seat" was a gap of more than 2 mins due to technical
difficulties. Nick told the crowd that "Nobodys Baby Now" was initially written
for Johnny Cash on request, but Nick decided to keep the song for himself because
he liked it so much. Mick Harvey then explained in flawless German (!) that the
bass amp was broken and to be fixed in 10-20 seconds. I was stunned.

The recording is OK, really enjoyable. Maybe a bit too loud in places with a
tiny bit of distortion here and there but an overall good document of the show.
