The last night of the Spring 1978 tour with Elvis Costello & The Attractions and Mink DeVille. Rockpile were third on the bill,
so here they play a pretty short set. This Rockpile set has shown up on a couple of bootlegs releases (most famously Elvis Costello's
'The Last Foxtrot'), but usually only a partial amount of their performance and in inferior quality to what you have here. This is the
complete and best sounding version of this recording available. Of particular interest is their performance of "Fool Too Long", which
at this point only existed as an unreleased demo (which would turn up on Nick Lowe's compilation release, 'The Wilderness Years').
Rockpile would release their own version of the song on their classic 'Seconds Of Pleasure' album which would not be released until
more than two years later.
