I saw these guys on their excellent first tour in 2019, and while much of this setlist was the same — drawing from Pink Floyd’s pre-Dark Side of the Moon albums — the addition of “Echoes” was worth the (steep) price of admission. (Whoever titled this “The Echoes Tour” knew their marketing.) Great songs, great band, great sense of humor about playing 50-year-old music without trying to be just a tribute band. Would gladly go see them again, though I’m not sure what’s left in their catalog to pull out for the next tour — a complete “Atom Heart Mother,” maybe?

I was in the back of the Beacon orchestra section for this, but the combination of cardioid mics and great sound (I was directly behind the soundboard) made for a very nice recording. There are still a few more stops on this U.S. tour, catch them if you can!
