Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets

Riverside Theatre, Perth, Western Australia
25 September 2023

Recorded with Zoom iQ6 mic on an iPhone6, using RetroRecorder to record to .wav.
Adobe Audition 1.5 used to do some EQ, adjust levels and split tracks.

The final show of the Australian tour. The band were in a good mood and looked like they were thoroughly enjoying themselves, except when people in the crowd shone lights in their eyes while taking videos.

Nick's speaking in between songs is barely audible on the recording, but left there for completeness. We could hear him fine in the venue.

Some good comedy moments between songs too. Some I'd heard before, like Guy's Nile Song story. Others I hadn't, particularly the bit before Set The Controls when "Roger" (allegedly) phoned Nick to ask if Nick knew where his gong was.

At the end, I assume this was a "last night of the tour" thing, Guy used a cheap Squire bass to play Bike, then attempted unsuccessfully to smash it on the stage before eventually giving it to a guy in the front row. That's what the loud banging noises at the end of the show are.
