A JUHAB RECORDING PROJECT #22
---

Rec. Info:
Aiwa CM30 mic -> Sony WMD6 -> master cassettes (Maxell XL90) -> playback on NAK DR3 (WAV 16/44) -> HD -> Sdcard -> my HD -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC ->
DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...and the winds of time blowing through them...
Very fine recording, no real annoying chatters or other audience disturbances, but I had to do some surgery as well. On a few tracks (especially the first and the the sixth) some major
crackling dropouts on the right channel forced me to duplicate the left channel as a "fake" stereo for a few seconds (of forever). Think there are still some bursts here and there, but
only a bit of minor distraction. All summed up: GREAT TAPE, indeed.

Now, I think this show is a quite rare one. Don't know if that's ever been traded, but here's the rip from the master cassettes. And you fellow afficinadoes of music inspired by the outer
spaces need to get a close listening to this. Your fellow uploader SPACEBANDIT origins the name from a Hawkwind album of (almost) the same title, and you bet that tracks like "Brainstorm"
or "Master of the universe" are always way on top of my favourite songs ever. Both were played on this show and I really dig these versions.
For me, there's unfortunately only little information about the collaboration between the MIGHTY THUNDER RIDER, Mr. NIK TURNER, and this fine space rockin' band from Sweden.
Most likely those experienced HAWKFANS out there know a bit more about. Please let us know.
Meanwhile, fasten your seatbelts, wait on the runway to take-off, lighten one up and jump into the show! SB.
