notes: The Old Castle->Blues Variation is a major tip of the hat to ELP (check out the sample). Peter Gunn as played by North Star pre-dates ELP's 1978 version, but that's another story I'll let Glenn tell. Calling His Shots, as those who have downloaded some of the other North Star shows already know, is an excellent tribute to the style of Gentle Giant (check sample). This might be my favorite performance of Calling His Shots that I've heard. Also check out the very FZ inspired interlude included here from the excerpt of "Everybody Listen" (called Meltdown in later days). You might recognize a little bit of the "Wild Love" (later part of Sinister Footwear) interlude. Or you might not.

lineage:
1st gen analog cassette tape from band->Sony TC-WR550Z for playback->TB Montego->Sound Forge 9 (dc
offset, levels)->wave->CDWave->FLAC level 8
** The Old Castle and Blues Variations are from Glenn's master cassettes and his own digital archive - edited in via Sound Forge 9 and everything was then balanced.
