::: VG stereo AUD. Check samples for won't/might/will assignations.
::: Warts: Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few. #08 couple of brief (presumed) mike cable issues&low volume spots.
::: CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is the Mk1 No EQ or NR version. The Mk2 with EQ & lite NR version is available elsewhere.
::: Partial recording of first of 1/2 set unless they had serious time issues. Anyone have a longer and/or better version?
::: Does anyone know/remember the name of the venue and/or other acts on the bill?
::: Band hardly pauses between songs & club sounds pretty empty - opening act?
::: DIMER bobfather says the 2 active '88 clubs were Live Station & FZW (Freizeitzentrum West) & more likely FZW.
::: Opal EU'88 tour 1 of the best-ever taped tours for a band of their stature at the time. SO FAR, 12 shows in 3 weeks!

DimeTravel 838 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! Thanks to DIMER Hermesacat for all the help with line-up, etc. Thanks to DIMER bobfather for weighing in about Dortmund club possilities. Many thanks to whomever uploads this for me. ::: Corrections welcome ::: Worked on this years ago & it got sidelined as I could never sort out the location. Here 'tis at last. Hoping for some more pre-'88 Opal to appear - must be dozens more recordings out there. Those college kids in California did lots of taping with their D6's in those days. As one would expect, this is rockin'. Heavy stuff, shivers the ole timbers. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
