Outskirts of Infinity
Studio Sessions
unknown studio location
August 1987
Spacey's notes (2023 remaster):
This came to me via pschnob and was written in the info as 4th gen. aud.
This isno perfect "studio recording", maybe there was a mic in position with a cassette recorder in tow.
Original sound was very uneven and very muffled, so I both adjusted the channels, cleaned up (eq'ing) to make this
sound just a bit better. Still no recording for hi-fi lovers. Maybe there was a CDR gen also in, but who known?
There were those tiny 2 second errors we all know from unproper burning CDR. But as far as I know it's the first
(of date) circulating recording from this fabulous long forgotten band.
Lineage: unknown 4th gen cassette > unknown digial transfer > unknown everything.
Remaster: Merged tracks, balanced channels, added a bit mor high/mid instead of low end.
Flaws and "sudden fades" smoothed, a few clicks removed and retracked, flac'd.
Oh, I should notice that tracks 1-5 are of a superior quality than the remaining three songs.
