comments:
I don't know what was used to make this recording but it is a very nice sounding complete audience tape, crisp
high end, probably sounds alot better than being there (I've had that experience alot, but never been to this place).
The taper said the sound in there was awful, but it was recorded from a good spot and the mikes were good ones. May
even sound a little better than the Boston 2000 one (it's close, both are nice sound) although cement walls don't
reverberate Ozric vibes (or any others) very well. This was about 15 minutes or so longer than the Boston show I saw,
probably because it was the Ozric's first visit to Hartford, Connecticut. I think the Boston was the 1st show of this
U.S. tour, this one is the last, and it seems to have that final show burst of energy in it. I didn't notice any cut
songs, and suspect this is about as good a recording as there is of this concert. Maybe even better than a sbd which
often tends to sound stuffy or "tubby" with the Tentacles. It's also the next best thing to a 3 step torrent, doesn't
sound "generated" at all because there is just 1 analog generation in this lineage and it was a nice clean transfer.
Do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
