We arrived 75 minutes early hoping to snap up 2 chairs or bleacher seats...no such luck.
It was crazy packed and more just kept streaming in...up and down the side aisles.
My wife,Janice, & I had the fortune to have brought along our folding stools/small chairs...
at least we had a seat.This stage is farther into downtown and it's situated between some tall buildings...
you can get a pretty good recording just about anywhere in front of the stage..near or far.I thought it
was going to be very hard to get a recording without alot of crowd noise...I was wrong..it came out pretty good
...even tho the wind threw the sound around abit and I did have to move the mic a few times to avoid talkers.
You know...I've heard alot of Pat Metheny through out the years..I sorta moved him over to the side shelf...
but after hearing him play live..I really dig him again!
