Comments from Alpine 7784:
This was my 5th time seeing Pat. He plays this venue regularly; I recorded a duet with him and Ron Carter here a few years ago. The tiny venue was full, and the crowd was quiet and very respectful during the music.
He spoke! A LOT! He was clearly happy to be trying an entire gig of solo work, but being Pat, he brought a lot of gear, including a smaller version of the Orchestrion. He spoke a lot about Charlie Haden, and poked some good-natured fun at Leo Kottke (He knows how to talk and tunes his guitar at the same time). He said this was the first time playing some of his material in a solo setting. Was thrilled to see Sueno Con Mexico live; never expected Id see that tune in a million years. A real treat.
Any help with the setlist is appreciated. Thanks also to ethiellsen for cover art.
