... which was a reseed of Torrent #13264 uploaded by hezekiahx2 on November 8, 2004. (Many thanks to hezekiahx2 for sharing these tapes with us!)

REMASTER DETAILS: tom_phillips sent me a PM recommending a 71:29 cross-mix for these recordings, which I applied to the original source files after refining the noise-reduction techniques used in Torrent #151332 to clean up the static distortion (which was very noticeable throughout the last 30 minutes of the show hezekiahx2 uploaded here). The 71:29 cross-mix allowed me to dispense with much of the EQ I had used to bring up the bass response in Torrent #151332. I did want to bring "something extra" to the table so along with the cross-mix I decided to do further audio restoration on the tracks, repairing the many tape dropouts and anomalies as well as cleaning up much of the feedback coming from the vocal mikes throughout the show. This was a very time consuming process, and I'd put in a few hours here and there over the past 7 months- I was not really that impressed by the results since there was always so much more to do. :(

In any case, with tom_phillips uploading his remaster of my Torrent #151332 on January 15, 2007, I figured that I might as well complete my own remaster. I finished cleaning up the tracks and with them about as "pristine" as could be expected, I experimented with various techniques to enhance the recordings before finalizing this project as follows:

- Native Waves Renaissance EQ (to even out the sound between the tracks)
- Native Waves C4 Multi-Band Processor (to balance out the different instruments)
- iZotope Ozone Mastering Software (which uses 6 different modules: paragraphic equalizer, mastering reverb, loudness maximizer, multiband harmonic exciter, multiband dynamics and multiband stereo imaging)

You are encouraged to listen to the samples I will be posting in the comments section!

Notes from original torrent:

"This was done with 2 mics and a reel to reel. Most people list it as a soundboard. I knew the taper and this is what he used. It is up to you as to how it is listed."
