The opening of the 2000 Adelaide festival, just a short set by Paul, after a wonderful Warumpi band set, which I should have recorded, oh well you can't turn back time.
During the first minute or so of track one , I moved because of the noisy crowd and when I sat down my gut accidentally hit the stop button on the D6, theres about 10 seconds or less missing of that track .
This set featured the song " Love Is The Law, written especially for the festival. The references to " The babies" before this track refers to the fact that parents could register their babies born in the year 2000 in the state to take part in a visual celebration with a slideshow of their images and birthdays on the big screen which was played during the song as the parents and babies paraded throughout the crowd. It was pretty special . Paul and the band were joined by members of Warumpi, Onslaught ,Kaha and Vika and Linda to sing the anthem.
A magic ending to a great show !
