Notes:

I've been a Beatles fan all my life but, for some reason, I'd never seen Sir Paul live. I got to finally see him at my local mammoth NFL stadium (about a 15 minute drive from my home) all due to a friend of mine procuring 2 decent seats, on-the-cheap, day of show. And it was a really great show, with lots of Beatles, Wings and McCartney solo classics. Moved up a row after "I've Got a Feeling" as there were several empty seats right behind our original 3rd row seats. With a wall right behind (see pictures), this meant we could stand, sing and dance without worrying about being in someone's way. Just a couple of clunkers in the set, imho ("Temporary Secretary" - I would much rather have heard "Coming Up" from that album - & "Queenie Eye"). Sir Paul playing "In Spite of All The Danger" (a pre-Beatles Quarrymen song, which owes a lot to Elvis' "Trying To Get To You") was a real treat. A fantastic, appreciative NY/NJ audience was in fine vocal form on several massive Beatles sing-alongs ("Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "Let It Be", "Hey Jude" & the epic 3 song "Abbey Road" medley that closes the show). Last, I can finally say I've seen a real, live Beatle mates. Ha, ha! Enjoy!

More Notes:

I thought the sound was really, really good for a stadium show where I was not very close to the stage. My trusty Nokia Lumia Icon, once again, did a fatastic job of capturing (16/48 WAV) what I heard w/the built in HAAC mics. Some "On the Fly" splits after tracks 08, 16, 26 and 33. I used Audacity to split these into individual songs. Some samples are included. Let me know what you think.
