An Evening Of Folk, Rhythm and Blues, Part 3: Paula Lockheart Live at NCC, 1988-03-24 Superb master AUD tape 24bit 48K mastering mp3 sample
For nearly three hours, several artists entertained us at Nassau Community College, back in 1988. Paula Lockheart is sort of a crossover between jazz and rhythm and blues. Her "little lost girlie" style of singing harks back to an earlier era. She seemed equally at ease singing Billie Holiday as she did standards such as "Moonglow" or old rock and roll.
She performs many of the tracks on the "Incomplete Paula Lockheart Album", which is still available for purchase, should you decide you like her style enough.
