DimeTravel 134 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: ORIGINAL NOTES: Another one for Bert. What a score. This is very far out. It came along with a number of previously missing Top Gear sessions that later turned up on the wonderful (but sadly lacking in many respects) "Lost Broadcasts" CD. Some heavy psychedelic electric guitar at times, mixed with experimental drums, chanting and weird seagull sounds from the added TV footage. Terry Cox gets way out on drums & vocals on a version of "Moon Dog" I find more interesting than the "Sweet Child" version - in part because of the atmosphere of the set. This ends up more eerie & strange at times than Christmas-like. It should be something of a revelation for some Pentangle fans! ::: NEW 2015 NOTES: After DocTinker pointed out this one had a speed problem a few months ago, I decided to revisit it, as my remastering skills have gotten better & the pitch correction made for a MUCH better listen. Plus it's always a good time for more Pentangle of this vintage. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
