Absolutely rare! Not commercially released by the band.

In my collection of rarities there is also a number of live recordings, demo tapes and -CDs by regional and
less famous bands who are really worth a listen! Some of them are hidden gems - and this is one of them for sure.

This is the oldest known recording of The Percussion Duo (Martin Mueller & Thomas Scheurer).
Although they have been playing together since the late seventies there seems to be nothing older in circulation.
At least until now.
Three years later (1992) their demotape came out, followed by their official Cassette release "Percussion Duo" in 1993 and their only CD "Vollmond" in 2001. Some cover scans are attached here.

The venue was an 18th century farmhouse in the middle of nowhere where mainly national and international folk acts were playing regularly (every week or so) during the late 1980's. And once a month they offered concerts of regional acts with open-stage-jamsessions following.

1. Erste Runde
2. Conga Jam
3. Announcement > Mundharmonika & Percussion
4. Latin Jam (Jam No 4) \\
5. Warm-up improvisation
6. Boogie-Woogie-Jam
7. Feelin' Alright - Jam
8. House Of The Rising Sun (piano & guitar only)
9. Small Blues Jam\\

Lineup:
Martin Mueller: congas, percussion, blues harp (3)
Thomas Scheurer: congas, percussion
unknown guest: percussion (4,6,7)
unknown guest (Andy ?): piano (5-9)
unknown guest: guitar (5-9)

This is the complete tape! Have fun!

And again, NO MP3, please (unless you don't believe in reincarnation)!
