note by PUNKJAZZ:
StoneTigers' one and only "Big league" gig. Percy plays really well on this one.

The Bottom Line was definitely NOT a tapers friendly club, so I had the mic on an unused chair, consequently the sound was a bit muffled,
so I added a few db of gain above 10k and ran it all through the waves L3 to brighten it up.
There is a bit of amp noise and PA hum in places, but thats the way it happened. The encore from the second set was recorded
onto a different cassette so the sound quality is slightly different

The audience was small, but enthusiastic....a little too enthusiastic...
sometimes exhibiting what I call the "Al Dimeola effect". This is a loud annoying hooting sound made by certain drunken suburban NY fusion fans
whenever they hear a run of 64th notes(or in this case, Percy's amazing fretless playing).....Someday these people will disappear
in the middle of the night on a special train they're sending.....but I digress.

Hopefully you folks aren't tiring of this yet, because there are still a few more to come.

Thanks again to DeusIrae for getting this un-banned and out to the fans.

Even though this group essentially played a very similar set each time out,
there was enough improv and growth to keep it sounding fresh....I've really enjoyed transferring and listening to these again after 24 years,
so i guess I'm proud to be one of the same 15 people who showed up at the StoneTiger gigs.
