Peter Frampton, Bristol Academy 6th March 2011

A brilliant gig from the ex-member of the Herd and Humble Pie with probably the most popular live album of all time. It stretched for almost three hours and personally I was disappointed when it finished. What a great guy! I could have listened all night. With covers of most of his favourites there was also a good selection of newer (and older) material. Having only owned "Comes Alive" up until now, I will be seeking out his other works from now on. For that reason, there are a number of instrumentals that I couldn't name. Any help appreciated.

Audience recording from a high balcony, very little crowd distraction, bit boomy so I reduced this with Wavepad. His voice was a bit down in the mix on occasions (though that may have been my position). Humbly, I think it's a great recording, I hope you agree. I have split out some of the talk so that those who want to edit it out can do so.

Hope some of the beauty of that night comes over
