Comments:

Great show from Peter Wolf on his "Midnight Souveniers" tour, unfortunately, a chatty Saturday night crowd. The couple in front of me loudly talks over much of the first 4-5 songs, but fortunately the lady opted to "upgrade her seat" and left for most of the last 2/3 of the show. (I have never seen anything like it -- in an all-seated show, she walked to the front and stood directly in front of several people and blocked their view, then turned her back to the stage and loudly talked to the people around her. Peter actually came over and tried to shut her up a couple of times because she was annoying HIM.) Aside from crowd interference, the sound is pretty good (as is typical for shows in the Park West) given that I was pretty close to the sweet spot for the venue.

Performance-wise, the new material came off great (the CD didn't really grab me until I saw him play most of it live at this show) and of course the old Geils stuff is always welcome. At 62 years old, he's still one of the best.

Files are more or less unprocessed, though I did tweak the high end upward slightly and reduce midrange slightly to reduce echo. Nothing significant - you would have to do an A/B test to notice the difference, but it's a slight improvement over my raw master. Mp3 samples are in the comments.
