Another fine recording from Rother Bluestage! Here's some classic Louisiana rooted Chicago style blues from the late great Phil Guy, younger brother to Mr. Buddy Guy.
While settling mostly on slower and mid-tempo tunes, the concert gets a real kick on the closing numbers, when Phil Guy is trading licks with Richie Arndt on a Rolling Stones
tune and the fantastic Turn on your lovelight. This is as mellow blue as you can get. Hope you like this, too. SB.
