Notes:
The 1964 concert is a part of the Swarthmore College Folk Festival. According to WSRN's archive page at http://www.swarthmore.edu/library/friends/ead/6Q011wsrn.xml, the last song from Phil's part of the show is "What Are You Fighting For", but it's missing in my copy of the recording. An article review of the year's festival can be found at http://celebratingphilochs.com/april-11-1964-swarthmore-pa-swarthmore-college/.
The 1963 show, part of the Gerde's Hootenanny, is the earliest live recording of Phil Ochs I know. It also has the only known live version of one of his most stunning tunes, "William Moore". The song has been one of my favorite Phil Ochs songs for a long time. It's worth mentioning that, the last concert Phil Ochs held before his tragic death in 1976, was also held at Gerde's Folk City.
