sbd > unknown .... > CD > CD > Flac

Probably 3 sets, but there are 2 second (track at once ?) gaps between songs ... The cds have tape speed faults in places. They also have digi-noise all of which I am assured is on the "masters"

I have not attempted any "clean up", other than to remove the 2 second gap at the end of each flac file before saving.

cd 1
1 cops of the world
2 flower lady
3 small circle of friends
4 changes
5 the war is over
6 I ain’t marchin’
7 power and glory
8 cross my heart
9 rhythms of revolution
10 I ain’t marchin’
11 joe hill
12 draft dodger rag
13 white boots
14 I’m going to say it now
15 crucifixon
16 the floods of florence

cd 2

2 is there anybody here
3 the highwayman
4 cops of the world
5 flower lady
6 small circle of friends
7 changes
8 the war is over
9 I ain’t marchin’
10 power and glory

possibly recorded by a radio station for use in a feature. I don't know if these tapes were ever used.

I am not aware that distribution is restricted in any way,but hopefully these tapes will not end up on ebay

ADDITIONAL INFO BY fredatwork, June 2009:
Obtained this via Direct Connect from one of the staff members of hungercity (not sure if he wants to be named)
who in turn had received this in a flac trade.

Following some clues from my detective bag (mostly info from the book accompanying the 10-CD-compilation of the Burg Waldeck Festivals
released by Bear Family Records in 2008), I came up with the following additional info:

Most likely recorded on analogue reel-to-reel tape (details unknown) by Wilfried Zahn (sound engineer at "Deutsches Rundfunkarchiv"
- German Radio Archives - in Frankfurt.

Most likely 1st generation copy of original master tapes (destroyed in a fire at Burg Waldeck in 1977 where they had been kept)
onto 18-cm reel-to-reel (19 cm per second), transfer by Juergen Kahle (unknown date prior to 1977).

Transfer to DAT (unknown date) by Stephan Roegner, transfer to CD-R (unknown date) by Deutsches Rundfunkarchiv (German Radio Archives).

The 10-CD-compilation on Bear Family Records contains two Phil Ochs titles from the 1968 festival
- Cross My Heart (which is most likely track 8 of this tape)
- Power and (the) Glory (which does not sound, at least to my ears, like track 7, CD1, nor track 10, CD2 -- in fact, track 10, CD2 sounds to me
like an edited/abridged version of track 7, CD1 - can anyone with better ears confirm this?

Files unchanged, md5 added.
