Recorded from the center lawn, along the "no chairs taller than 26" beyond this point border. Excellent recording. Two spots in Rhapsody are in mono to reduce crinkling noise of nearby attendee who decided to open chip packages during the performance (5:09 to 5:15 and 8:23 to 8:46).

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Rhapsody in Blue (first performed publicly 2/12/1924). The Marcus Roberts Trio adds a new take on the classic. Excellent performance all around. See https://spac.org/events/philadelphia-orchestra-rhapsody-in-blue-100/ for more info.

I did not tape the Orchestra only songs (Victory Stride [Johnson], Symphonic Dances [Rachmaninoff] and the encore).
