What a great weekend it's been here in the UK over 9 hours of Floyd
on the airwaves,so i went down to the vault and revisited some old Relics (sorry)

Looks like a re seed from a while ago
Original Notes..............

This is a rebroadcast from sometime prior to 1985, of perhaps the first interview Syd and the group did. It was originally recorded for the CBC in Canada. Portions of this interview pre-date the Floyd's recording contract!

Following are reminisces of group members and various early people connected with the band.

Run time is about 20 minutes.

Thanks to Dime member BluePine for the source cassette (do you remember?)

Lineage: Trade cassette ->SoundForge 6.0 -> Light NR ->Flac via Flac Frontend level 6, sectors aligned and verified

Notes from pf-db.com

Also purportedly repeated in Capitol's The Pink Floyd Story (I may have this on cassette somewhere but don't have a working deck).

This rebroadcasted version of the CBC interview contains a bit longer portion from Peter Jenner than previous ROIO versions. There is also some augmented material (possibly added for the rebroadcast) from Nick Mason and a very young-sounding David Gilmour regarding Barrett's departure from the group and a bit of chatter from a DJ both before and after the actual interview portion (some talking over the beginning of IO).

This is already listed here on ye olde database as 02-67, but most sources on the web (including the HYGIY tracklist) date this interview as January 67.
